Dear Juma community,

Juma exists to provide all youth with an opportunity to achieve a successful and fulfilling life, with the careers they wish to pursue. The recent decision by the Trump Administration to rescind protections provided for nearly 800,000 young people by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program is a disturbing and callous threat to this work.

We affirm the right of all young people to a prosperous future, with the legal rights they deserve in order to learn, work, succeed, and give back to their communities. DACA recipients have contributed greatly to this country. We owe them a legal path to citizenship and security. To that end, Juma will continue to do all it can to support DACA recipients and push for their protection and we encourage our supporters to do the same.
