We are excited to welcome Steve Carlson and Jessica Santamaria to Juma’s National Board of Directors!
Steve Carlson joins Juma’s Board of Directors with more than two decades of experience in financial services and technology where he has focused on improving the financial health of U.S. consumers and small businesses. Steve has held senior executive roles at HSBC and Intuit, as well as within privately held companies, and is actively involved in positively shaping U.S. consumer financial regulations including having served as an inaugural member of the CFPB’s Consumer Advisory Board. Steve holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Steve currently serves as President of TrueML, leading a multi-national team in developing software and analytics for leading banks, fintechs, and other organizations. He brings a strong foundation on Juma’s work given his recent experience as a charter member and Chair of Juma’s San Francisco Local Advisory Board.
Jessica Santamaria currently serves as the Vice President of Partnership Sales for the San Francisco Giants. Jessica joined the San Francisco Giants in 2016, bringing extensive expertise in television and radio advertising and leveraging data-driven insights to maximize value for brands. Prior to joining the San Francisco Giants, Jessica was the National Sales Manager of Univision Austin where she was instrumental in leading successful commercial campaign strategies and securing multi-million dollar media sponsorships across live entertainment events. Jessica is a graduate of Santa Clara University with a degree in marketing.
